May 4, 2016:
Tom Hiddleston visited the Hampstead School in London, along with British politician Justine Greening. At the time, Justine Greening was the Secretary of State for International Development and went on to become the Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities. The purpose of this visit was to raise awareness for children affected by humanitarian crises, including war and natural disasters, ahead of the first World Humanitarian Summit.
Also on this day, Unicef UK released a video of Tom Hiddleston reflecting on his time spent working with children in danger. Tom specifically talks about his time in Guinea. "I feel very strongly that we are all responsible for the state of our world. Every child deserves a fair start in life..."
Tom's support of children affected by crises continued with the #EmergencyLessons campaign. This campaign was to highlight the importance of education for children in emergencies. Tom recorded a total of five videos for the campaign, each with a different theme relating to school and education.

It's where you find out who you are and who you want to be... school is as vital as food and medicine."
