BFI Luminous (2017)

October 3, 2017:

Tom Hiddleston returned for the 2017 BFI Luminous Gala fundraiser. Tom was named BFI Ambassador and served as a guest speaker at the event in 2015.  The 2017 BFI Luminous Gala raised £460,000 for the #BackTheFuture campaign. Back the Future was a year-long campaign to raise 1 million for BFI Education, which creates new opportunities for young people. The event was held at the Guildhall in London.

Tom didn't do any interviews or walk the red carpet but there are several picture of him from inside the event.

The Guest Speaker was Tilda Swinton who delivered a passionate speech about the importance of the BFI in protecting the British film archive and supporting the next generation of film'making talent.

One of the lots available in the BFI Luminous Silent Auction was a chance to attend the Early Man premiere.

An exclusive opportunity for you and three guests to walk the red carpet at the London premiere of EARLY MAN, a new animated film from Aardman and StudioCanal. Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of how plucky caveman Dug, along with sidekick Hognob, unites his tribe against a mighty Bronze Age civilisation in a battle to beat them at their own game.

EARLY MAN features the voices of Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams and Timothy Spall.

In addition to the red carpet experience at the London premiere, you will receive a spectacular storyboard from the film, to keep as a reminder of the special night out. This is the perfect family-oriented prize, ideal for those looking to entertain the kids as much as themselves!

The central London premiere date will be a Sunday in January 2018 and will be confirmed with the winner as soon as it is scheduled. This prize is valid for 1 winner and 3 guests.

Kindly donated by StudioCanal and Aardman Studios
