December 4, 2011:

The world premiere of War Horse was held at the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts in New York City. War Horse tells the story of Joey, a horse, who is sold into the British Calvary and his odyssey to return to his former owner. The play, War Horse (on which the filmed is based) also had it's Broadway debut in 2011 as a co-production between the Lincoln Center and the National Theatre. The stars; Jeremy Irvine, Emily Watson, Toby Kebbell, Celine Buckens, David Cross, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Kennedy, David Thewlis, Robert Emms, Matthew Milne, and director Steven Spielberg all walked the red carpet.

Steven talks about how quickly the project came together, the extraordinary reaction, and his focus on casting newcomers.

Tom described War Horse as "an extraordinary film that Steven has made about peace really."

After the premiere guests were treated to a buffet dinner during which the film's score, composed by John Williams, was played on a loop. Tom posed with co-star Celine Buckens and future co-star Elizabeth Olsen.

Fashion:

Tom Hiddleston wore a velvet tuxedo from Armani.

This look was very reminscent to the 2018 GQ Men of the Year Awards. Can you believe that's a nearly 7 year difference?
